Bonfire Night Fun in North Wales

Bonfire Night Fun in North Wales: Firework Displays You Don’t Want to Miss!

As we head into the festive season, there’s so much to look forward to! October brings all the spooky fun of Halloween, and by November, the Christmas markets are starting to pop up, with gourmet street food and the scent of mulled wine filling the air.

But let’s not forget the magic of Bonfire Night! It’s a wonderful tradition that lights up the night sky with fireworks and the warm glow of bonfires. North Wales is home to some fantastic displays, so why not head out and experience the excitement for yourself?

To help you plan, we’ve put together a list of some of the best firework displays happening nearby. With events spread out over the weekend, you could even catch more than one!

Beaumaris Fireworks Display

When: Saturday, November 9th

Where: Beaumaris Pier, LL58 8BS

This is one of the most popular displays in the area! The bonfire is lit at 7:00pm, and the fireworks start at 7:30pm. There’s plenty of entertainment on the green afterwards, so why not make a night of it? Entry is £5 per person, and kids under 12 go free, with all proceeds going toward next year’s event. Insider tip: Get there early for parking or grab a bite to eat while you wait!

Llandudno Fireworks Display

When: Sunday, November 3rd, 6:30pm

Set against the backdrop of Llandudno Bay, this professional fireworks display is sure to be a showstopper. If the weather isn’t great, don’t worry—it’s rescheduled for Monday, November 4th, at the same time.

Dylan’s Fireworks Night – Criccieth

When: Friday, November 1st, 5:00pm – 9:30pm

Head to Criccieth Beach for a brilliant night of fireworks, food, drinks, and live music. It’s the perfect way to kick off your Bonfire Night weekend!

Caernarfon Fireworks Display

If you’re staying near Caernarfon, you might catch a glimpse of the fireworks right from your doorstep! For the best view, though, head to the promenade by the castle for a stunning display of fireworks over the water.

We want to make sure everyone has a fantastic Bonfire Night, so just a quick reminder: please avoid setting off fireworks at your holiday home. Fireworks can cause distress to local livestock, and we’d like to keep our neighbours and the surrounding wildlife happy. But with so many great displays around the island, there’s no shortage of places to enjoy them!

Have a brilliant time and stay safe!
